The Bible is living, powerful and convicting

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Conclusion

If you are a Christian, you need to read the Bible daily.

Devotionals are not enough to produce spiritual growth in your life.

Excuses do not feed your soul or please the Lord.

To feed your soul, you ought to read at least one chapter of the Bible daily, find a principle to live by, write it down, and meditate on it.

If you have never read the entire Bible, make that your goal in 2016.

With God’s help, if you will read the Bible daily for one year, it will change your life. Will you do it?

Perhaps you are not a Christian.

Without Christ, the Bible may seem like a dull book of rules. You will find it difficult to understand.

If you will search the Scriptures they will point you to Christ. He die on the cross and rose again to be able to save you.

If you will admit your sinfulness, agree with God that you deserve to pay for your sin in hell, desire that God will change your life, and then trust Christ alone to forgive your sin and save you from hell, He will forgive you and give you an eternal life.

Don’t put it off. Tomorrow may be too late!
