Closing Remarks 19 January 2014 – Romans 16:1-27 – Romans – Scott Childs Introduction: We have heard the saying, “Good to the last bite.” Well that is true of Paul’s letter to the Romans as well. Here in the last bite of his letter, he closes with another good challenge. Transition: As we look at […]
Right Actions 12 January 2014 – Romans 15:14-33 – Romans – Scott Childs Introduction: In the book of James we read these words, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Self-deception is the greatest deception. God will reward Christians for what they DO, not for what they […]
The theme of the book of Romans is God’s Righteousness. As Paul finishes the section on soul liberty, he also wraps up the entire epistle on God’s righteousness. As Christians, we ought to know Bible truth so well that when we […]
A Biblical Church vs JWs 1 December 2013 PM – Matthew 7:15 – Biblical Church – Scott Childs Introduction: We have all had JWs knock on our doors. We know they are a cult, but just how do their beliefs differ from our own? Many Christians are not able to answer that question. Apostate […]
Soul Liberty 1 December 2013 AM – Romans 14:1-13 – Romans – Scott Childs Introduction: Since the time of Christ, many unbiblical churches have tried to force people to believe as they do by persecuting all who refuse.
